Yeah, well, it’s not funny, 29 deaths to date, it’s still appalling. And above all, families who are demanding truth and justice. And who are now far, very far from receiving them.

In this sad affair, technically there can only be three possibilities.

• A – Either Jirama is responsible: a break in the cold chain, food spoilage, terrible botulism.
• B – Or it was an accident. One of the three caterers was negligent, for example. Given the extent of the damage, this hypothesis isn’t very plausible, but it can’t be ruled out 100%.
• C – Or finally, premeditated murder. Voluntary manslaughter, as they say. Committed by a third party or several, a criminal conspiracy in this case.

There you go, I can only see these three possibilities; I don’t see any others.

The worst part is that a month after the tragedy, we’re no further ahead than we were on day one 😳

And where things get really contentious is this government and judicial insistence on doing everything they can to ensure that Option C, murder, is chosen.

A highly suspect position. Or do they want to avoid being potentially tarnished, so they absolutely have to find scapegoats to blame them? Any zay, Rakool’s wife eee…

In any case, the investigation, inquiries, and analyses conducted so far are far from satisfactory.

It’s dragging on; everything seems to be done to ensure that Option C is chosen, and anything that doesn’t support this is arbitrarily dismissed. Botulism, for example…

If it turns out to be intentional homicide, of course everyone, especially the families involved, demands justice.

But true justice, at the end of an impartial, meticulous, detailed investigation, with irrefutable conclusions that cannot be challenged in the slightest.

In other words, who are the perpetrators of the crime? What are their motives? The murder weapon. And finally, the sequence of events, the modus operandi.

Do we have cough today? Well, no, sorry, we don’t have any cough today. We only have pseudo-experts prattle on in front of microphones and cameras, convincing no one but themselves.

That being said, when we see the endemic state of the judicial system today, are we surprised?

A hasty justice system at the behest of the executive branch, police investigations with nonexistent scientific resources, and that’s all there is to it, to be polite.

Under these conditions, I fear, unfortunately, that this long-awaited truth will never come out. What’s more, when citizens no longer have confidence in the judicial system… bravo for your corrupt little practices, this is the result.

I truly feel sorry for the families of these 29 missing persons to date. And it’s truly a double whammy for them: not only have they lost one or more loved ones… but their right to the truth is also being taken away.
